Chlorinated Polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) is similar to PVC in many ways. In addition to maintaining the qualities of PVC that make it resistant to acids, alkalis, alcohols, and many other corrosive materials CPVC is treated with chlorine to create a material that is more heat and highly resistant to acids, alkalis, alcohols, and many other corrosive materials..  Similar to PVC, the wide range of joining options that include solvent welding, threaded and mechanical connections make it ideal for easy, error free installations.  CPVC 80 systems offer the same benefit of being light weight, and tough with exceptional corrosion resistance but increase the operating temperatures up to 200⁰F (93⁰C).
