The internal knock-out plate and stainless steel mesh screening effectively contains water carry-over and discharges it through the bottom drain leaving dry flash steam to vent through the top of the vessel.

In-line (drain) separators DS-1, DS-2, DS-3, and DS-4 separate condensate efficiently by using the centrifugal force of steam or air created by introducing it into a specifically shaped path.
