The 8601 closed steel shelving back includes two 36″w half panels for stabilizing the back of 8000 series closed industrial steel shelving. Closed metal shelving units have both closed sides and back. Since the backs are closed off these are great for creating rows of back to back shelving. Lyon’s 8000 series is ideal for use as either warehouse or commercial shelving. Because of our design, you can easily swap out damaged boltless shelving parts with ease.

Lyon makes the 8601 closed steel shelving back panel out of 24-gauge steel. The 2 back panels overlap to cover the entire industrial steel shelving. We punch 3 vertical rows of holes on 1-1/2″ centers so it can easily bolt to a T-post upright. Lyon includes all the assembly hardware with this back panel so you can easily install it. Boltless shelving components like the back panel provide side to side stability and support.
