Quickly and easily transform your existing Lyon 8000 Series closed shelving section into a lockable storage cabinet with these swinging doors. These doors fit perfectly on Lyon’s 36 inch wide by 84 inch high 8000 series Closed Starter Units. The hinges attach easily to t-posts as well as the old style offset angle posts. Lyon makes these doors out of 20 gauge steel for a lifetime of maximum durability!

Features of Lyon’s Swinging Doors for 8000 Series Shelving

Each swinging door mounts directly to the front upright with three zinc plated steel hinges. The hinges open beyond 90° allowing you full access to the shelves inside. The included lock clips attach to both the top and bottom shelves. A lock bar on the inside of the right-hand door door extends into the lock clips to secure the swinging doors in place when closed. The right-hand door also features a chrome plated handle. Turning the handle engages the galvanized lock bar assembly inside the door.

When closed, the slight overlap on the right-hand door prevents the left-hand door from opening. Protect your contents even more when you use the built-in lock to secure the swinging doors closed. The included 7040 lock comes with two keys. These doors include a strong and smooth Dove Gray finish. Our powder coat application process creates a finish that is impact as well as corrosion resistant.
