This Comp packing is an excellent, all around packing exhibiting good thermal conductivity characteristics resulting in higher shaft speed, feet-per-minute (fpm) ratings.

- Multi-Lok braided high-purity carbon fibers made from a PAN base, with a minimum carbon content of 95.0%. (Staple fibers from PAN produce a more flexible packing than filament fibers, which tends to fracture when bent. Each individual strand is coated with pure PTFE and cured before braiding.
