- A 100% pure PTFE joint sealant used in virtually any gasketing applications. Adhesive backing allows for easy installation and material is soft and flexible so it handles curves and contours.
Installation takes only minutes and removal of the sealant is simple and involves no scraping or grinding. It is sold in continuous lengths so that it can be cut off in various lengths.

The flexible lip seats exert continuous sealing pressure on the ball and automatically compensate for wear and changes in pressure and temperature, yielding positive bi-directional zero-leak shut-off. The stem seal sealing system ensures minimum emissions. Materials Standard products are available with carbon steel body and stainless steel trim or all stainless steel construction. Special body and trim materials such as Alloy 20, Hastelloy® C, and others are available upon request. For applications involving chemicals, acids, caustics, and steam we recommend our Xtreme® seat material, which provides superior lifecycle and sealing performance compared to virgin or filled PTFE. - Unlike other PTFE fluorocarbon filament packing, SEPCO prelubricates the fibers of the ML2235 to provide a softer, more flexible packing, with improved peripheral speed characteristics and exothermic properties.
No glazing at higher speed applications, inert, lower coefficient of friction, thermal resistance to 500F/260C and high compressive strength.

The lubrication formulation makes the extra difference. The ductile nature of the lubricant prevents wicking and provides superior sealability.
The packing is constructed with a Multi-Lok braid and each strand is individually coated with graphite. The packing receives a final secondary surface coating of graphite.

- The SEPCO ML2225 are saturated and sealed with the PTFE particles, protecting the fibers from chemical action. A surface coating of PTFE is applied after braiding to assure good break-in characteristics, also a special high temperature lubricant is added. The ML2225 is a great general service on rotary and reciprocating pumps, and agitators. Yarns are coated in PTFE suspensoid.This system of impregnation assures even distribution of the PTFE particles, protecting the fibers from chemical action.
